The past few days have been a time of deep humility and gratitude for Sharing Smiles Foundation. 🙏As India approaches the beautiful festive season of Diwali, we are humbled that three newspapers in India have featured our work in rural healthcare.Here in Australia, we are equally grateful for the encouragement and support we received during last week’s fundraising walk, including the gracious support of Barbara Ward, former Deputy Mayor and Councillor of Ku-ring-gai Council.These moments remind us of a simple truth: **Recognition is not the destination. Service is.**Our work is not about pride, wealth, or personal recognition. It is about serving those in need, bringing hope to communities, and making healthcare and education more accessible.May we always keep our heads bowed, our hearts grateful, and our intentions pure. What a meaningful Sunday morning at the Ku-ring-gai Wildflower Garden in Sydney.Over 40 of us gathered in the middle of nature to walk, share stories, and support a cause close to our hearts. Together, we slowed down, reconnected, and created unforgettable memories.A special thank you to Gone Bush Adventures for guiding our path, John Krule for serving as our master of ceremonies, and Sister May from Brahma Kumaris for her inspiring facilitation.Thanks to the remarkable generosity of our Sydney donors, we have raised close to $2,500 so far—and the support continues to grow!
